Spring Newsletter – 2011
After going through a period of weather with the old saying ÒIf you do not like the weather wait a few minutes it will change.Ó We had snow on the daffodils that were about to bloom, and did a sad job on the skunk cabbage that always looks so pretty blooming in the creek. Now the Rhodies are budding out.
We were fortunate that a lot of the worst weather didnÕt happen till after the shop hop.
Everyone seemed to have a good time, many traveling and spending time with good friends, relatives etc. which is something we sometimes forget to do.
Kathy did get the sample ABC-3D quilt finished and on display near the batiks. Come by the shop and take a look. It is very pretty. We also have a great new book for all levels of quilting – Not Your Grandmothers Log Cabin. It is fabulous and easy to read.
Many new spring pastels have arrived in time for Easter, along with some new patterns for childrenÕs aprons and dresses. I am a spring person, I really love to see all the new things people have designed during the winter. Check out our website to see the new fabrics.
